Shoebox Appeal 2009 ready to start off!

Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City’s Ramadan Shoebox Appeal 2009 targets community for Dhs 1.25 million donations for 10,000 construction workers across the UAE.
The Ramadan Shoebox Appeal - Facts and Figures:
- Dhs 1,25 million or 10,000 shoe boxes is targeted in 2009, up from more than Dhs 900,000 or 7500 boxes last year
- 55 shoe box collection points across Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and Knowledge Village
- 250 volunteers from organizers and sponsors
Donations totaling more than Dhs 1 million are earmarked by the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City, the lead organizer of this year’s Shoe Box Appeal.
